The monitoring system Netcam Pro is intended for easy monitoring of a remote place by a camera and transfering the scanned picture via local area network to another PC. It is ideal as aby monitor for watching your children. The basic condition for installing the Netcam system is a network Between your computers. Install the Netcam server to a computer of yours equipped with a camera. To another one install the Netcam console program.
You can download both the programs in a ziped file here. After that copy the ncpsrv.exe program to your computer with a camera and the ncpcon.exe program to the other one where you mean to watch the picture. Before you start using ncpsrv.exe it is required to install the DirectX interface 8.1 or higher to the camera equiped computer.
After the successful installation launch first the ncpsrv.exe on your computer with the camera and by cliking the Setup button a basic configuration form will display to you. In The available devices list you can choose a camera suitable for your monitoring. The comunication port is ready in its Default setup. The Picture refresh interval offers more possibilities from continuous scanning up to 60 minutes interval. Preferably, to avoid overloading your computer by the continuous scanning we recomend you to choose an interval just bellow one second. Also it is possible to set up an automatic start for the picture scanning and another automatic start for the ncpsrv.exe that will launch with the start of Windows.
If you mark the both possibilities you need not bother with ncpsrv.exe any other time you start your computer. Its running and scanning pictures will be provided automatically.
